SEMKA Works is a focused desktop tool for one-person manga and comic production. Instead of hand-drawing rulers, gutters, and panel borders for every page, generate a complete base layout in seconds. Seed-based algorithms create deterministic multi-panel pages in your chosen format, with configurable gutters, bleed, and layout variations.

From there, everything is click-to-edit. Split, merge, resize, duplicate, move, lock, or delete individual panels. Customize panel shapes and formats, set unique border thicknesses, and apply shading directly to your pages.

Build your dialogue directly into the page with a growing collection of speech bubble shapes, including round, square, rectangular, spike, cloud, and flash bubbles. Adjust their appearance, corner roundness, and tails, then add text directly to selected bubbles using the default Komika font.

Planning your page is just as easy. Select any panel and add a Note Box to keep track of dialogue, actions, compositions, or anything else happening in that panel. You can also place images directly inside panels for references, sketches, artwork, or visual planning.

Every page keeps its generation seed, allowing you to restore or re-roll layouts whenever you want. Save your work as .semka projects, reopen them later, and continue exactly where you left off.

SEMKA Works also includes a Home Page project manager where you can create, organize, duplicate, export, and delete projects, alongside a tab-based workflow for managing your work.

When you're ready to export, output individual pages or entire chapters as PNG (up to 1200 DPI), ZIP, PDF, or SVG. PDF and SVG exports provide clean vector output for high-resolution digital and print workflows.
